Grievance redressal policy

Objective:

The objective of this policy is to establish a transparent and efficient grievance redressal mechanism to resolve the grievances of the customers of our retirement advisory services in a timely manner.

Applicability:

This policy applies to all customers of our retirement advisory services.

Definition:

  1. “Grievance” means any complaint, dissatisfaction or grievance expressed by a customer in relation to our retirement advisory services.

Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO):

  1. The company shall appoint a Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO) who shall be responsible for the resolution of grievances received from customers. The contact details of the GRO shall be prominently displayed on the company website, and other communication channels.
  2. The GRO shall receive and acknowledge all grievances received from customers within 3 working days of receipt.
  3. The GRO shall ensure that all grievances are resolved within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the grievance. In case the grievance cannot be resolved within the stipulated time frame, the customer shall be informed about the reasons for the delay and the expected time frame for resolution. The issue is escalated to the CGRO level, if the issue is not resolved within 2 weeks. The CGRO has to make sure, the issue is resolved within the next 15 working days, to be compliant with the regulation of resolving issues with 30 working days

Grievance Redressal Mechanism:

  1. Customers can raise their grievances to the GRO through any of the following channels:

  3. Raise a request through our website or app
  4. The GRO shall acknowledge the grievance within 2 working days of receipt of the grievance and shall provide a unique reference number for future reference.
  5. The GRO shall investigate the grievance and take necessary action to resolve the same within 30 working days from the date of receipt of the grievance.
  6. In case the customer is not satisfied with the resolution provided by the GRO, the customer may escalate the matter to the CGRO of the company by writing an email to cgro@finroot.co.in within 15 days of the receipt of the resolution provided by the GRO.
  7. The CGRO shall investigate the matter and provide the resolution within 15 working days from the receipt of the complaint.
  8. If the customer is still not satisfied with the resolution provided by the CGRO, the customer may escalate the matter to PFRDA Grievance Redressal Mechanism.

Reporting:

  1. The GRO shall submit a quarterly report to the CGRO on the status of grievances received, and resolved by the GRO.
  2. The CGRO shall submit an annual report to PFRDA on the status of grievances received and resolved by the company.

Review & Compliance:

  1. This policy shall be reviewed periodically and updated as and when necessary by the Chief Grievance Policy officer.
  2. Any changes to this policy shall be communicated to customers through the company website, and other communication channels.
